Last night i took off a huge looser in wheat which basically eviscerated all the gains from the last months. Stupid.
I vowed to stay more mechanical and not hold anything over night thats a looser.
So at the beginning of the evening i shorted Soybeans right before their last spike up before this beautiful drop.
But... i had lost a small amount by the time i went to bed, so i got out.
missed out on a huge move there. If i had just waited until after i read a few pages in bed, i wouldve probably left the trade on or at least set a stop to the recent high... but no, i got out for a loss and missed out on this huge move.
Once again i had a good entry but missed because i couldnt stomach the fluctuations and because i didnt do everything i could.
Frustrating.

ORCL earnings play fell flat "bigly" :)
Luckily i play those really small.
Also nice to see a small market selloff into the close which saved my RUT calendar and turned my QQQ positions from losers into small winners.
Still a long way to go, but i start feeling more confident every day.

CORN fell further... this thing is hard to stomach, but at least the Weed stocks are pulling up again.
After not looking at those charts i took a glance today it looks like there is at least a little bit of volume coming back in and i see higher highs and lows which is reassuring as well.
Right now i feel like i should probably hold until Canada legalizes weed, which is also going to allow me to keep the papertrading account here in ToS.
All the other positions i have in here are becoming insignificant.
FTR is doing its thing, IYR is doing its thing and VXX is of course doing its thing as well.
Soon ill be done in here and able to transfer some money out.

I managed to catch two swing trades today, one a loss and one a bigger winner.
I dont want to jinx it but in 4 days of day trading practice ive had 4 up days. Not all trades were good trades, i lost money on some, but i ended every session with a profit.
I hope this keeps going like this. Investors Underground is a incredible resource! All the education as well as the scans and the chat are really really helping so much.
In the swing trading section i made a small profit as well today but nothing worth mentioning.
Im up about 9.5% after 4 months, i think thats a pretty good result :)
